One-Bowl Chocolate Cake
A simple one-bowl chocolate cake, no fuss and with a really good, moist center.
Ingredients
Cake
- wheat flour (2 cups)300 g
- sugar (1 cup)200 g
- cocoa powder (2 tablespoons)20 g
- milk (1 cup)270 g
- oil (1 cup)240 g
- egg1 szt.
- baking soda1 łyżeczka
- baking powder½ łyżeczki
- cinnamon1 łyżeczka
Instructions
- 1
Put all the ingredients into one bowl.
- 2
Whisk into a smooth batter with no lumps.
- 3
Pour the batter into a bundt pan.
- 4
Bake for about 50 minutes at 170°C, top and bottom heat, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- 5
After baking, leave the cake in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer onto a wire rack to cool.
Tip
You don't need a mixer. A whisk is enough as long as the batter is well combined.
Common mistake
Mixing too briefly leaves lumps of cocoa and flour, which you'll notice in the finished cake.
Serving suggestion
Great on its own, with powdered sugar, or a simple chocolate glaze.
