- 2 opakowaniasugar-free vanilla pudding powder
- 2 łyżkisugar
- 200 gbutter (soft)
Whipped cream
- 600 mlwhipping cream, 30% or 36% (well chilled)
- 2 opakowaniacream stabilizer
- 2 łyżkipowdered sugar
Instructions
- 1
Pour the vanilla pudding powder into 200 ml milk and add 2 tbsp sugar. Mix thoroughly so there are no lumps.
- 2
Bring the remaining 500 ml milk to a boil in a pot.
- 3
Pour the mixed pudding powder and sugar into the boiling milk and, stirring constantly, cook into a thick pudding.
- 4
Cover the finished pudding with plastic wrap pressed directly onto the surface and let it cool completely.
- 5
Beat the soft butter until light and fluffy.
- 6
Gradually add the cold pudding to the butter and beat until you get a smooth pudding filling.
- 7
Arrange the first layer of tea biscuits on the bottom of the pan.
- 8
Spread half of the pudding filling over the biscuits and level it out.
- 9
Add a second layer of biscuits and spread the caramel spread over it.
- 10
Add another layer of biscuits on top of the caramel.
- 11
Spread the remaining pudding filling and level it out.
- 12
Add the final layer of biscuits on top.
- 13
Whip the chilled cream with powdered sugar and cream stabilizer until stiff.
- 14
Spread the whipped cream over the top of the cake.
- 15
Sprinkle the whole cake with grated chocolate.
- 16
Refrigerate the cake for a few hours, ideally overnight, so the biscuits soften and the layers set properly.
Tip
You'll get the best result after chilling overnight. The biscuits soften, the pudding filling sets, and the cake slices cleanly.
Common mistake
Don't add warm pudding to the butter, or the filling can curdle. The pudding needs to be completely cold.
Serving suggestion
Serve chilled, cut into even pieces. Great with coffee, for family gatherings, weekends and holidays.
