Ingredients
Dough
- 375 gmilk
- 25 gfresh yeast (or 8 g dry yeast)
- 75 gbutter (melted)
- 25 ghoney
- 590 gwheat flour type 650
- 8 gsalt
Also needed
- 50 gparmesan
- dried herbs (for coating)
- milk (for brushing)
Instructions

Mix together the milk, yeast, melted butter, and honey.

Add the flour and salt, then knead into a soft, smooth dough.

Let the dough rise until doubled in size.

Divide the dough into 4 parts and shape into rolls.

Brush them with milk and coat in the parmesan and herbs.

Score the rolls and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.

Bake for 15 minutes at 200°C until golden.
Tip
Don't overbake these rolls. They should stay soft and tender inside.
Common mistake
Baking too long will take away the softness that matters most here.
